This year, since our Primary school is moving to Ashiya, we held our last Halloween event at the Shukugawa campus with our kindergarten friends. Children were fully dressed in adorable costumes and looked so elegant. Some children couldn’t identify their teachers because they were all dressed differently so kids got confused. Also, parents participated in the event and wore costumes as well, so this made the event so lively and exciting.

First, the children performed a dance called「Halloween Stomp」while their parents were watching them moving their bodies to the music!

The kids sang songs, played games and got some treats. This made them more excited and, in the ball, -throwing room, they threw many colorful balls at the ghosts to defeat them. Also in the candy pool, they used nets to scoop up candies just like in a goldfish scooping game.

In the next room, they played a game of finding Halloween characters attached to balloons scattered all over the floor. The children excitedly pointed out the characters they found like it’s a "Ghost! Witch! Monster!" and so on.

And in the last room that was a scavenger hunt. They explored the dark room with flashlights. Some children were hesitant to enter the dark room because it looked so frightening, but they enjoyed the thrill of hunting in the dark and found some Halloween characters with their flashlights.

After the games, it was time for the much-anticipated trick-or-treating! We went around shops near our primary school. The local shop owners were so cooperative and nice with us during our trick or treating. The children were overjoyed when they received snacks after shouting "Trick or Treat!" People walking in the street also smiled at the children in their costumes and commented on how cute they were. Our MINS children are so lucky to be loved by their nearby neighbors and community!

Later, when our children went back to our nursery school, they continued enjoying Halloween event to the fullest. They played a game of searching for candy-filled capsules hidden in the classroom. They searched with sparkling eyes, shouting "I found one! I found one!"

After a day full of Halloween fun, the children went home with lots of treats and their Halloween decorations that they had made before the event. It was such a wonderful unforgettable day, so we kept the memories.
