This summer was so hot! We enjoyed this summer from the cool room, we couldn’t go to the park at all. So we put all our extra energy into making our summer program as fun as possible.

At the end of the first week, we had the Summer Festival. The Summer Festival was held in our Big Kiddies room. The food stalls were popcorn, hot dogs, and cotton candy. The decorations for the food stands were made by our Little Tikes teachers with special thanks to Zelle.

The games were fishing, feed the clown, and ring toss. The games were built by our big kiddies teachers. The kids enjoyed the ring toss the most, probably because they could get the lollipops that they were throwing the rings onto. Yum!

Our first group was Little Tikes, our Pre-K and K1 classes, their favourite was the lemonade stand. They also really liked the popcorn and the lollipop ring toss game.

The second group was the Big Kiddies, our K2 and K3 classes their favourite was the cotton candy stand. They also really liked the lollipop ring toss game and fishing game.

We loved hosting this year’s Summer Festival and are already looking forward to making next year’s event even better . See you then!
