Inside our comfortable community gymnasium, our annual Sports Festival brought together students, families, and staff for a day of high energy, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. This event was more than just a celebration of athleticism—it was a vibrant display of the international spirit that defines our school.

The day began with an inspiring opening ceremony featuring a lively parade of students proudly marching and presenting the Sports Festival Oath. Students from each grade level showcased not only their excitement but also their sense of belonging and teamwork. Parents and teachers lined the gymnasium, clapping and waving, as upbeat music set the tone for the festivities ahead.

Throughout the day, students participated in a wide range of events designed to be inclusive, fun, and challenging. From relay races and obstacle courses to tug-of-war and group dances and performances, each activity highlighted the importance of cooperation, perseverance, and sportsmanship. One of the most anticipated events was the multi-grade “Baton Relay,” where mixed-age teams passed batons in a whirlwind of speed, encouragement, and high-fives across the finish line.

As the points started increasing on both sides, everyone was even more eager to go just a little bit faster, to overcome the other team, to score just one extra point for their team. It was breathtaking to see how hard all of the students tried their very best to carry their team to victory and all the glory associated with it.

This event was not just for the students but the parents too! Brave volunteers from the stands came forward to grab each side of the rope to win the tug-of-war contest for their childrens’ team. With the loud cheers from the students helping them, the parents pulled with all their might!

This event was not just about the points and sport events, but also about music and fun. Kindergarten and Primary students each had their time to shine dancing to a well known song. One of the highlights was the ‘Footloose’ dance by the Primary Grade 3 and Grade 5 students.

After everyone gave it their all, the last race finished, all the points counted, everyone was waiting with their breaths held. Who was going to be the winner this year! Who was going to take the trophy with them and celebrate all their hard work? But every time there can only be one winner. And this year this title belongs to…

…THE WHITE TEAM! Congratulations to the winners and a wonderful effort from the second place team! We hope everyone enjoyed this day to the fullest and already cannot wait for next year’s battle!
